【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiesamethodforassessingthewind-opposedburningbehaviourandspreadofflameofhorizontallymountedflooringsexposedtoaheatfluxradiantgradientinatestchamber,whenignitedwithpilotflames.AnnexAgivesdetailsofassessingthesmokedevelopment,whenrequired.Thismethodisapplicabletoalltypesofflooringe.g.textilecarpet,cork,wood,rubberandplasticscoveringsaswellascoatings.Resultsobtainedbythismethodreflecttheperformanceoftheflooring,includinganysubstrateifused.Modificationsofthebacking,bondingtoasubstrate,underlayorotherchangesoftheflooringmayaffecttestresults.ThisEuropeanStandardisapplicabletothemeasurementanddescriptionofthepropertiesofflooringsinresponsetoheatandflameundercontrolledlaboratoryconditions.Itshouldnotbeusedalonetodescribeorappraisethefirehazardorfireriskofflooringsunderactualfireconditions.InformationontheprecisionofthetestmethodisgiveninannexB.
