【摘要】:ThisInternationalStandardspecifiesthephysicalandmagneticcharacteristicsofa3,81mmwidemagnetictapecartridgetoenablephysicalinterchangeabilityofsuchcartridgesbetweendrives.Italsospecifiesthequalityoftherecordedsignals,therecordingmethodandtherecordedformat,therebyallowingdatainterchangebetweendrivesbymeansofsuchmagnetictapecartridges.Therecordedformat,knownasDDS-2,includesallthefeaturesoftheDDSrecordedformatspecifiedinISO/IEC12247andoftheDDS-DCrecordedformatspecifiedinISO/IEC11557.TheprincipaldifferencebetweenthisrecordedformatandthoserecordedformatsistheuseofagreatertrackdensitybythisformatInformationinterchangebetweensystemsutilisingthisInternationalStandardalsorequirestheuse,asaminimum,ofalabellingspecification,e.g.ISO1001:1986,Informationprocessing-Filestructureandlabellingofmagnetictapesforinformationinterchange,andaninterchangecodewhichshallbeagreeduponbytheinterchangeparties.Underinformationinterchangecircumstancesinwhichaprocessingalgorithmisappliedtothehostdatapriortorecordingonthetapeandacomplementaryreprocessingalgorithmisappliedafterthedataisreadfromthetape,agreementuponthealgorithmsemployedbytheinterchangepartiesisalsorequired.ItisoutsidethescopeofthisInternationalStandardtospecifyanyofthese.
