【摘要】:1.1Thisspecificationcoverstwogradesofextrudedpreformedflexiblecellularpolyolefinthermalinsulation.Grade1isforoperatingtemperaturesfromx2013;150x00B0;Fto200x00B0;F(x2013;101x00B0;Cto93x00B0;C).Grade2isforoperatingtemperaturesfromx2013;297x00B0;Fto250x00B0;F(x2013;182x00B0;Cto121x00B0;C).Forspecificapplications,theactualtemperaturelimitshallbeagreeduponbetweenthemanufacturerandthepurchaser.1.2Theuseofthermalinsulationmaterialscoveredbythisspecificationaregovernedbycodesandstandardsthataddressfireperformance.Contactmanufacturerforspecificperformanceofproductattheintendedusethickness.1.3Thisspecificationcoversthephysicalpropertiesofpreformedflexiblecellularpolyolefinthermalinsulation,whichhavebeendeemedmandatoryforthermaldesign.Physicalpropertiessuchasdensityandcoefficientofthermalexpansion(CTE)havebeendeemednonmandatoryforthermaldesign.NonmandatoryphysicalpropertieshavebeenincludedinAppendixX1forinformationpurposesonly.1.4Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.5Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
