【摘要】:ThisEuropeanStandardspecifiestherequirementsand/ormeasurestoremovethehazardsand/orlimittherisksonsemi-automaticandautomatichorizontalcuttingcross-cutsawingmachineswithonesawunit(radialarmsaws),hereinafterreferredtoas"machines",designedtocutsolidwood,chipboard,fibreboard,plywoodandalsothesematerialswhencoveredwithplasticedgingand/orplastic/lightalloylaminates.Anywork-piecepositioningequipmentfittedtothemachineisincludedinthisEuropeanStandard.ThisEuropeanStandardcoversthehazardsrelevanttothesemachinesasstatedinClause4.ThisEuropeanStandarddoesnotapplytomachines:a)withmanualfeedofthesawunit;orb)forcrosscuttinglogs;orc)specificallydesignedforsawingand/ormillingrooftimberframes;ord)fittedwithhydraulicbrakingsystems.NOTERadialarmsawswithmanualfeedofthesawunit(thesawunitismovedbyhand)aredealtwithinprEN1870-17andprEN61029-2-2.ForComputerNumericallyControlled(CNC)machinesthisEuropeanStandarddoesnotcoverhazardsrelatedtoElectro-MagneticCompatibility(EMC).NOTETherequirementsofthisEuropeanStandardapplytoallmachineswhatevertheirmethodofcontrole.g.electromechanicaland/orelectronic.ThisEuropeanStandardisprimarilydirectedtomachineswhicharemanufacturedafterthedateofissueofpublicationbyCEN.
